Introduction of Green colour :
Green, psychologically represents health, and it has a calming effect on the nervous system. Symbolically, green represents the power of nature and life and as such it is considered to be the most natural, relaxing, calming and balanced color.
So our kiddos found their “ Green ” from the “Green Space” of our school and we helped them crowning it in the form of Tiara.
This is how Green happened to us.
Mazes are lots of fun and provide sufficient challenges for children. It helps children to develop problem solving, fine motor control, visual control, concentration etc. Our children Of K2 class worked in groups and made maze puzzles on floor using ice cream sticks. They also challenged other groups to solve the puzzles made by them.

A healthy food plate
“A healthy outside starts from healthy inside”, and Grade 1 truly justified it with what better than making a healthy food plate itself. As a part of the curriculum, children learnt about “Health and Hygiene”. It all started with the discussion as to what is health and hygiene and why is it important to be healthy. The topic then flowed through the understanding of how one can remain healthy. As a culmination of the topic, children decided to make a healthy food plate. They gave list of the food items that can be included in either breakfast, lunch or dinner; later in groups they created a food plate of their own served with love, fun and of course a lot of healthful discussions!
Children have all grown up, to become wonderful chefs and environmentalists. Through a role play they showcased causes and effects of Global warming to educate other children and take steps to eradicate them. While few are ready with their own recipe - Chocolate soup, presenting it as a part of their assembly performance with tremendous confidence, taking up the spontaneous challenges without panicking with positive attitude.
